LEARNING GOAL #2 - Introduction to Microsoft Word: Students will be able to conduct online research, evaluate/cite sources, and type a one-page research paper using multiple features of Microsoft Word 2016.
LESSON OVERVIEW: One of the great features of Microsoft Word is that you can add images to text or even put images in the background of a document. However, before we can get to that point, it’s important that we go back and review some of the reasons why image searches and image usage must be taken seriously. Far too many people, adults included, are risking quite a bit of trouble just because they like an image and want to use it for themselves. Today, we’ll review the laws of Copyright and Online Image Usage, then dig a little bit more into some free programs that are available, including Google Picasa.
